 Posture Correction

Posture is the window to the spine.  If your posture is not in balance than your spine is out of balance.  Posture imbalances can be identified as uneven shoulder height, uneven hips, shoulders that roll forward, sway back, flatten feet, these are all indicators that unhealthy pressure and strain is being placed upon your nervous system, which is known as a subluxation.  Normal daily activities such as sleeping, standing, walking abnormality, computer work, smartphone overuse, playing video games, scoliosis and more obviously traumas such as car or recreational injuries, or giving birth can cause these postural imbalances.  In order to have optimal health and posture your spine has to be in the best possible condition.  Dr. Allison Ross helps each individual attain an optimal level of health and improved posture.

Pregnancy Care

Chiropractic care is especially needed during pregnancy because of the many physical changes the mother's body is going through.  Not only is the center of gravity changing because of the added physical weight she is carrying, but the spinal structure becomes more flexible due to hormonal changes which relax the ligaments in the pelvis, preparing the body for stretching during childbirth.  In an already unstable spine, that could cause or aggravate spinal problems.  Many pregnant women are prone to low back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome and many other changes.  Chiropractic care during pregnancy can provide a natural form of health care without the use the use drugs.  Dr. Allison Ross uses a very gentle approach which greatly helps reduce common spinal problems that women go through during pregnancy, so that women can enjoy their pregnancy to the fullest.
